Stopping Servigistics InService
Before installing a Critical Patch Set (CPS) to the existing installation, you must stop Servigistics InService. The Core Server, Core CMI Server, and JBoss must not be running. Also, no tasks should be in the In Progress, Failed, or Paused state when you stop the servers.
To stop Servigistics InService open a Windchill shell and run the following command:
On Windows: <InService>\InS_SW\SW\stopServer.bat
On UNIX: <InService>\InS_SW\SW\stopServer.sh
*
When running these commands note that <InService> is the base installation directory, and <InS_SW> is the path to the S/W directory. These directories are set during installation and S/W may not necessarily be a sub-directory of <InService>. For more information see Specifying the Installation Directory.
These commands will stop Servigistics InService, the Core Server, Core CMI Server, and JBoss.
