Troubleshooting
If starting the license server as a service fails, check the following:
• Using LMTools uncheck the UseServices checkbox
• Remove the failing created service using installptce.bat using LMTools.
• Change the properties of the service "PTC-InService" to "Local system" account from "This account" in the Services dialog
If you opted out of configuring licenses while installing Servigistics InService, complete the following steps:
1. Open the following file in a text editor: /opt/InService/InS_SW/SW/3C.properties
2. Add the following property, using the port and hostname values for your server:
licenseServerPath=<port>@<hostname>
3. Restart the server.
