Max System Configuration
After your new application is created and initial data sync is complete, you can configure your new system. Whenever you make configuration changes that affect search results, you should rebuild the search index. Additionally, you can configure system announcements to appear to targeted users in their preferred language after they log in.
You can configure many options that affect Max Platform application behavior and logic, as follows.
To provide a personalized experience, you can allow users to configure their individual preferences, such as color-coding and date and time, at the record level.
To execute specific system-oriented actions at defined time intervals, you can configure System Jobs.
To ensure efficient use of disk space, you can define automated cleaning support for transactional data that is no longer necessary for day-to-day operations.
To inform users of planned system upgrades or recently generated logs, you can configure and send System Announcements.
You can define settings that affect system-wide behavior and logic, such as the default landing page and user interface, authentication behavior, database operations, and notification handling, in System Setting records.
To define feature-level application behavior, you can configure Setting records, and you can also customize such settings for users based on their Roles and Groups.
