Map Configuration
In Map views in Max applications, you can configure the information that appears in Quick View panes when you click list entries and map pins. For details on how to configure these information panes for the applicable list views, consult product Help for your Max application.
You can also configure map providers. OpenStreetMap/Mapbox is the default map provider for map rendering, address resolution and travel time calculation. Google Maps is supported with customer-provided Google Maps API and Tile API keys. If the Google Maps API and optional Google Tile API keys are specified, Google Maps os used for map rendering, address resolution, and travel time calculation. If only the Google Maps API key is configured, the default OpenStreetMap/Mapbox access token is used for map rendering, and Google Maps is used for address resolution and travel time calculation.
Max applications ship with a predefined Default Map Provider record, which is configured in the active System Setting record as the default map provider. You can create multiple Map Provider records and update the active System Setting record to use a different map provider as your needs dictate.
