Applications
The Applications object is used to configure the business applications that run on Max Platform, and you can define your own business logic in an application as well. Although it is not mandatory to use an application, doing so can help you to organize your business logic.
Applications can include the following:

Max Platform Applications
PTC ServiceMax provides a variety of applications that run on Max Platform, each of which has a unique area of focus. PTC ships Max Platform applications such as Service Board, ServiceMax AI, and PTC Asset 360, for example.
Two Max Platform applications, Max Admin and Max Designer, support implementation and configuration tasks for other Max Platform applications. The landing pages for these legacy applications are Dashboards, which can show many different types of information, such as user statistics and system status data in list or chart format, quick actions to create records or execute actions, and so on.
You can access Max Designer and Max Admin from the Applications list in the bottom left corner of the Max Platform application you want to configure.
