About Max Designer and Max Admin
Max Designer
This Max Platform application is designed for implementation and integration users. You can use Max Designer to do the following:
• Design your data model with Objects, Fields, and Relationships.
• Define APIs.
• Configure Data Validators, and Event Handlers with Operations and Sources.
• Define Workflows and Workflow State Conversions.
• Configure Transform Templates to sync data with external platforms.
• Implement Data Scanners to enforce data quality rules.
• Create and update Settings to enable features and control their behavior.
• Review and export your customizations to a sandbox tenant for testing with the Export Tenant Customizations tool, and then import the export package to production with Package Manager.
• Invoke Synchronize to apply data model changes, use Check Database tool to check for issues in data models, and invoke Data Review to review changes on the system.
Max Admin
This Max Platform application is designed for system administrators. You can use Max Admin to do the following:
• Manage Users, Roles, and Permissions.
• Configure system-wide settings such as Default Time Zone, Default Language, Salesforce integration-related settings, and so on.
• Check the status of Phone Notifications, Push Notifications, and Email Notifications.
• Work with logs and generate reports to analyze and monitor system performance.
• Configure authentication-related settings in System Setting records and configure external OAuth providers such as Salesforce to enable SSO.
• Create Data Clean Templates to permanently delete unneeded records from application tenants.
• Invoke Synchronize to apply data model changes, use Check Database tool to check for issues in data models, and invoke Data Review to review changes on the system.
