About Max Application Dashboards
Dashboards are the landing pages for the Max legacy applications, Max Designer and Max Admin. These apps ship with predefined Dashboards that you can customize per your business needs by using the Dashboard Designer in Max Designer, which you can also use to create your own custom Dashboards.
Dashboards are system-defined or user-defined collections of specific information shown in formats such as charts and lists, along with quick links to useful tools and content served by the Max CMS. Each Dashboard can be composed of multiple Dashlets, which are containers that display these information items. Dashboards show Dashlets in the Roll Dashlet and Grid Dashlet sections.
Roll Dashlet Section
In this section, Dashlets render in a single row. The width of each Dashlet is automatically adjusted to ensure all Roll Dashlets fit into a single row. You can use only existing Snippets in this section.
Grid Dashlet Section
In this section, Dashlets render in a grid layout, which allows for multiple rows of Dashlets with individually configurable widths. Each row is divided into 3 columns, and you can configure Dashlets to widths of one, two, or three columns. So, for example, a row can contain a single three-column Dashlet, one two-column and one single-column Dashlet, or three one-column Dashlets.
You can configure the following types of Dashlets to use on Dashboards:
• Calendar Dashlet
• Chart Dashlet
• Salesforce Chart Dashlet
• Salesforce List View Dashlet
• View Dashlet
