Manage Investigation Observations
You can manage observation entries in the dictionary to support investigation tracking, analysis, and data accuracy. This includes viewing, adding, editing, deleting, and bulk uploading entries to keep the dictionary comprehensive and up to date.
To manage observations, go to ServiceMax Setup > Investigations > Manage Observations.
Administrators can perform the following Observation management tasks:
Creating an Observation: Create a new Observation to record investigation findings.
Editing an Observation: Edit an existing Observation to update its information for investigation use.
Activating or Deactivating Observation: Activate or deactivate an Observation to control whether it is available for use in investigations.
Importing Observations: Import Observations in bulk by uploading a CSV file to add or update multiple entries in the Observations dictionary.
Deleting an Observation: Delete an Observation that is no longer needed in investigation workflows.
Observation Applicabilities: Configure Observation Applicabilities to display only the Observations that match the Installed Product associated with an Investigation.
