Background SFM executes an SFM process without presenting the user with a user interface to interact with the app. You need to configure an SFM Process, with an associated SFM Wizard in Background mode. For more information on how to configure the SFM Process in Background mode see, Background Execution of SFM Transactions.

When you invoke an SFM process configured for background mode, the SFM process is executed in the background and you will get a toast message as displayed in the following screenshot after the completion of the SFM.

When the process is not successful, the screen is automatically redirected to the SFM edit process with a toast message as shown in the following screenshot.
