Validating Installed Product Address
To validate the address on an installed product record:
1. Navigate to the Installed Product record.
2. Click Validate Address. A dialog is displayed indicating the validation process.
a. If the address is valid, a message indicating the same is displayed and the installed product record will be refreshed. The latitude and longitude fields are populated on the screen.
b. If the address is invalid, an error message will be displayed and you will be returned to the installed product record. An address could become invalid because of spelling mistakes or if the address contains PO Box or Suite numbers. Since this functionality uses the Google Maps engine, ability to validate an address depends upon the level of coverage for countries provided by Google.
