Solution
Saving a Service Task fails with an exception when a newly added picklist value is selected in the Status field of the service task. For example, On Hold.
The picklist value added to Status Option field of a service task is not added to the Service Task Status and Previous Task Status fields in the Service Task History object.
Add the same picklist value (for example, On Hold) to the Service Task Status and Previous Task Status fields in the Service Task History object. After adding the value, save the Service Task again. For more information, see Managing Service Tasks.
