This section describes the technical details of the mobile apps, covering the key aspects of configuration and synchronization, which are common to all the mobile apps.

Configuration of mobile apps encompasses various configuration screens and Salesforce configurations. However, the core configurations related to sync settings and data set to be downloaded are configured in Mobile Configuration screen. So, this screen is the focus of this section.

Mobile apps are expected to be used in offline mode frequently and at times for long durations. Hence, synchronization of data with online has to be powerful and efficient, to ensure business continuity with all the relevant data available locally, data integrity, and faster response to technicians and the customers they serve.
