Limitations
This section describes limitations applicable to translation of ServiceMax features, with respect to both translatability and OOTB translations.
• Out-of-the-box translations are not supported for the following strings:
◦ Custom field help text
◦ Sample Salesforce page layouts loaded by ServiceMax Configurator: Section titles
◦ ServiceMax Online Help (web and PDF)
• Configuration data, other than those supported by ServiceMax Translation Workbench, are not translatable. These include name and description of modules, submodules, settings, configuration profiles, dispatch console views, and so on.
• Labels and messages displayed in ServiceMax Configurator and Migration Tool are not translatable.
• Salesforce platform does not support translation of names of Reports & Dashboards and Record Type Description.
• Smart Docs does not support SFDC Custom Labels. However, they can be achieved using a workaround. Refer to Support for ServiceMax Mobile Apps and Smart Docs section for details.
