Expertise Fields
The following table provides information about the fields in the Expertise object:
Field
Description
Service Team
Name of the Service Team. This is a lookup to an existing Service Team in ServiceMax.
Technician/Equipment
Name of the Service Team member. This is a lookup for an existing technician/ equipment in ServiceMax.
Skill
Name of the Skill. This is a lookup to an existing Skill record in ServiceMax.
Skill Level
Proficiency level at which the Skill is available.

The acceptable value range for this field is 1-10.
If you enter a value higher than ten, then ten is considered the value.
If you enter a value lower than one, then one is considered the value.
Availability Start Date
Date from which the Skill is available in this group.

The time zone of the availability dates for the expertise is configured to be the same as the time zone of the technician or the territory to which you add the expertise.
Availability End Date
Date up to which this Skill is available to this group.
Is Applicable
This field indicates whether the expertise is currently applicable for the technician. Set this field to False if you want to mark an expertise inactive.
