Configuring SmartDocs in SFM Wizard for Delivery
To make configured Smart Docs template available for delivery, you must configure them as a Wizard Step in SFM Wizards(SFW). For more information, see SFM Wizards.
Key Points
1. For Output Documents, select the Wizard Step Type as Output Document in the Manage Wizard Steps tab of SFM Wizard Designer.
2. Output Documents reports can be configured for delivery in the following ways:
• Using a specific report template always - The configured Wizard step always uses the specified Smart Docs template and generates the report using it when clicked. This can be achieved by selecting the process associated with the wizard step in Step Name and without selecting the option Select Template At Runtime in the Manage Wizard Steps tab in SFW.
• Selecting the report template at run time - Clicking the associated Smart Docs action button in SFW displays the list of all the output document templates available for the object, using the SFM transaction names as shown below. You can select one of them to generate the report. Select Output Document at runtime.
This can be achieved by selecting the option Select Template At Runtime in the Manage Wizard Steps tab of SFM Wizard Designer.
