Installing the ServiceMax AI Package
ServiceMax AI extends the capabilities of your Salesforce organization by enabling intelligent automation and data-driven insights. To get started, install the ServiceMax AI package after completing the required setup steps outlined below.

Prerequisites

To enable ServiceMax AI, ensure the following:
• Install the ServiceMax Core package in your Salesforce organization. For information about the ServiceMax Core package installation process, see Installation Steps.
• Obtain a separate license for ServiceMax AI by contacting your account manager.
• Assign users to the ServiceMax AI package after installation. For more information, see Assigning Licenses for Installed Packages.
• Request the ServiceMax AI package from ServiceMax Tech Support.

Installation Steps
To install ServiceMax AI, perform the following steps.
1. Open the installation URL provided by ServiceMax.
2. Enter your username and password for the Salesforce organization where you want to install the package, and then click Log In.
3. From the package installation page, choose one of the following options:
◦ Install for Admins only – Installs the package for business administrators and grants Modify All object permissions.
◦ Install for All Users – Installs the package for all users.
◦ Install for Specific Profiles – Installs the package for selected users and allows access to custom profiles.
4. Click Install to begin the installation process.

If the installation takes a long time, a progress message is displayed.

5. Click Done after the installation completes.
You are redirected to the Installed Package page and receive an e-mail with the installation status.
