Migrating ServiceMax Configurations to Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud (SFoA)

Ensure that Homebrew, OpenJDK 21, and Tomcat components are installed and configured to use the self-hosted Migration Tool on your local machine. For more information, see Migration Tool Setup on Local Machine.

You can use the Migration Tool to migrate ServiceMax configurations to the Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud (SFoA) org using export and import operations.

Ensure that you have legal clearance based on your business requirements to migrate data from a Global org to the Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud (SFoA) org.

To migrate ServiceMax configurations from a Global org to the Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud (SFoA) org:
1. Export ServiceMax configurations from the Global org (live production environment) using the existing US AWS-hosted Migration Tool.
2. Import the configuration files into the SFoA org using the locally hosted Migration Tool.
