Known Issues and Limitations for the SFS Mobile App
This section lists the current known issues and limitations for ServiceMax Asset 360 in the Salesforce Field Service (SFS) mobile application.
iOS Cache Known Issue: When the Asset Hierarchy is launched in the iOS device, the previous hierarchy is loaded instead of the current record hierarchy.
iOS Blank Header Issue: The header section of the object record layouts is displayed blank on the iOS device.
Rich Text Support Limitation: The rich-text fields and system read-only fields are not supported in the card-view layout.
Duplicate Field in Asset Detail View Known Issue: The Modified By field is shown twice in the Asset Detail view from the Asset Hierarchy.
Landscape Mode Known Issue: On the Technical Attributes screen, when the screen is rotated to the landscape mode:
On Android devices, you are navigated back to the Asset Hierarchy screen.
On iOS devices, you remain on the Technical Attributes screen.
Lightning Web Security Option Limitation: If the Lightning Web Security option is not enabled in your Org, you cannot access the SPM custom components. To enable, navigate to Setup > Session Settings > Lightning Web Security, and enable the Use Lightning Web Security for Lightning Web components and Aura components option.
Truncated Error Message Known Issue: When an Asset record is deleted that is associated with a Service Campaign item, the message is truncated instead of being displayed completely.
Root Asset Deletion Known Issue: After deleting a root asset, the following behavior is noticed:
You are navigated back to the Asset Hierarchy component with the Asset record displayed if the asset is deleted from the Asset Hierarchy screen accessed from the work order.
You are navigated back to the Asset record if the asset is deleted from the Asset Hierarchy screen accessed from the Asset record.
Record Page Auto-refresh Limitation: After editing a record, when you tap Save, you are navigated back to the record page, but the updated details are not displayed.
Number Field Locale Known Issue: When the user locale is set to a language other than English, the Number and Percentage fields in the Work Order record is still displayed in English.
Datetime Field Format Known Issue: When a mapping is created with the literal function such as Tomorrow or Yesterday and is associated with the header section, the format of the field value is different from that of the web.
Timezone Known Issue: If the time zone of the logged in user is different, changes are not reflected in the Datetime field.
SPM Flows and LWCs Limitation: The Wizard step types Flow and LWC are not supported in the SFS app. An error message is displayed when the SFS app user clicks a Wizard step of Flow or LWC type.
Incident Report Error Message Display Known Issue: The complete error message is not displayed if an error occurred when submitting the incident report.
Video Capture Limitation on Android Devices: On Android devices, when uploading files, there is no option to record video.
