Service Contract Plan Data Model
Service Contract Plans are templates that you can use when you create Service Contracts.
When you create a Service Contract Plan, you can provide details like Parts that need to be included in the Service Contract Plan, Services Entitled to the parts, and Negotiated Pricing for any Parts, Labor, or Travel.
Account, Product, and Price books are the Salesforce native objects used in defining the Service Contract Plans. In addition, the following custom objects are used in this feature.
• Service Contract Plan
• Applicable Contract Line Product
• Entitled Service Plan
• Contract Price Line Item Plan
• Maintenance Plan Template
The Service Contract Plans is a new feature that provides automation and additional functionality to the existing Service Contract module in SFS (for Asset 360). Asset 360 Service Contract Plans empowers users to standardize and dynamically automate the creation and management of their Service Contract offerings to end customers. It also automates the creation and management of Maintenance Plan offerings through the Service Contract Authoring process.
