The Maintenance Plans functionality enables the creation of maintenance plans through maintenance plan processing in the Org.

You can create either condition-based, Asset 360-enabled maintenance plans or Salesforce-enabled maintenance plans.

The condition-based maintenance plan templates leverage asset technical attributes to define conditions to generate work orders through maintenance plan processing.

The Applicable products are master-detail to the Maintenance Plan Template. In addition, one or more Maintenance Work Rule Templates are defined for Maintenance Plan Template or Applicable Product(s). Work Type can be associated with both Maintenance Plan Template and Applicable Product.

Maintenance Plan, Maintenance Asset, Work Type, Product, Asset, Maintenance Work Rule, Location, and Service Contract are native Salesforce objects. Maintenance Assets define the covered assets. Maintenance Work Rules can be added to the Maintenance Plan and Maintenance Asset.

A360 Maintenance Plan, A360 Maintenance Plan asset, A360 Maintenance Plan Process, A360 Maintenance Work Rule, and A360 Conditional Output are custom Asset 360 objects.
