Editing Technical Attributes
To edit a technical attribute:
1. Click the attribute you want to edit on the Techincal Attributes page. ORClick Edit in the action menu on the attribute row. The technical attribute is displayed in the edit mode in a modal window.
2. Edit the technical attribute as required. For more information about the technical attribute details, see Creating Technical Attributes.

The following fields are read-only in edit mode and are not editable:
• Units
• Type
• Developer Name

3. Click Save to save the asset technical attribute.You are navigated to the Techincal Attributes page. The updated technical attribute is listed on the page.

When you update a technical attribute, the existing related data (technical attribute information already associated with assets) is not affected. In the future, if you add the updated technical attribute to any technical attribute template and that template gets associated with any asset, the updated values of the technical attribute are considered.
