Creating Rental or Loaner Assets
To create a rental or loaner asset from an asset:
1. Click New on the Asset List page. The New Asset pop-up is displayed.

You can also create a Rental or Loaner Asset from the Locations object. For more information, see Rental Loaner Asset.

2. Select the Rental/Loaner radio button, and click Next. The New Asset: Rental/Loaner page is displayed.
3. Enter the following details as mandatory actions and update other relevant fields:
◦ Asset Name: Enter an asset name
◦ Account: Search and select the customer account
◦ Contact: Search and select customer contact
4. Click Save to save the asset details. Alternatively, click Save & New to save the asset and create another asset.
