Creating Rental Loaner Asset
The Asset 360 solution allows businesses to manage different types of assets and track their installations, rentals, or loans. This flow allows a business a create rental or loaner assets within their Salesforce asset database and manage the usage history and lifecycle.
To create a rental loaner asset:
1. Launch the inventory location for which you want to create the rental loaner asset.
2. Navigate to Service Process Wizard > Stock Location Actions > Create Rental Loaner Asset. The Create Rental/Loaner Asset from Location page is displayed.
3. Enter Product ID and Serial Number as mandatory actions and update relevant fields.
4. Click Next. The rental loaner asset is created and you are redirected to the Asset page.
