If the timeline is enabled for the object, the hierarchy and the timeline components are synchronized. The integration gives you complete information about the asset. As you navigate through the hierarchy and click different asset rows in the hierarchy, the timeline shows asset activities for the selected asset in the hierarchy view dynamically.
