Managing Maintenance Assets
You can perform the following tasks on the Manage Maintenance Assets page:

Select the child assets of the current asset for the maintenance plan
|
Select the Create Maintenance Plan for Parent and Child Assets checkbox.
Selecting this checkbox ensures that maintenance plans are created for also the child assets of the current asset.

Add maintenance assets for the maintenance plan generation
|
To add maintenance assets:
1. Select Add Assets in the Actions dropdown menu. 2. Search and add assets in the Add Maintenance Assets modal window.  3. Click Confirm. |

Update the asset qualification criteria
|
To update the asset qualification criteria, select an SPM Expression from the library in the Asset Qualification Criteria field.
The SPM Expression you select is associated with the maintenance plan, which provides specific criteria to the maintenance plan creation flow when it identifies assets as applicable maintenance assets. The SPM Expression is specific to the asset object and is applied in addition to the applicable product information defined on the maintenance plan template.

Remove maintenance assets
|
To remove a maintenance asset from the maintenance plan:
1. Select the asset you want to remove.
2. Select Remove Assets in the Actions dropdown menu.
A confirmation message is displayed.
3. Click Confirm.

|
Add work type to maintenance assets
|
To add work type to a maintenance asset:
1. Click the Edit icon in the Work Type column of the maintenance asset row.
2. Search and add the work type.
