Agent PTC RV&S Installation and/or Configuration Step

Understand Agent PTC RV&S
|
• Understand how Agent PTC RV&S works.
|
|
Install Agent PTC RV&S(s) on remote machine(s)
|
• Install Agent PTC RV&S to the applicable directory. The Agent PTC RV&S installer is located on the PTC RV&S DVD in ../Installs/agent.
• If necessary, uninstall Agent PTC RV&S.

Configure Agent PTC RV&S
*Restart Agent PTC RV&S after configuration
|
• Specify your chosen security realm in the security.properties file (MKS Domain is not supported, use Flat File instead).
• Add users (password.properties) and groups (groups.properties) if Flat File security realm chosen.
• Enable logging, if desired.
