About Strip Wizard Tooling Operations
From the Strip Wizard dialog box, you can change the tooling settings. Click Model and then click one of the commands described below:
• Modules—The
Modules dialog box opens from which you can define the curves that represent modules and the die set.
◦ From the Modules tab, set the following values for all modules:
▪ Overall Offset—Offset before the strip
▪ Height—Height of each module.
◦ From the Modules tab, set the following values for each module:
▪ Offset X—Offset of the module to the predecessor module.
▪ Length—Length of the module.
▪ Distance from Top—Distance of the module to the top border of the strip.
▪ Distance from Bottom—Distance of the module to the bottom border of the strip.
◦ From the Die Set tab, set the following values for each module:
▪ Create Curve—Select this check box to create a module curve.
▪ Offset Before—Offset before the die set curve.
▪ Offset After—Offset after the die set curve.
▪ Offset Above—Offset above the die set curve.
▪ Offset Below—Offset below the die set curve.
More Tooling menu settings are available when you set PDX configuration options, located in <PDX>\configuration\StripDefinition.cfg or in <PDX>\text\<language>\PDX140_StripDefinition.txt.
