About the Strip Wizard
Click > to open the Strip Wizard and create a strip. Click > > to update an existing strip. Pan and zoom in the Strip Wizard are identical to pan and zoom in Creo Parametric.
Click an option to define or modify a strip and then type a value for the option:
• Strip Assembly—Name for the strip assembly.
• Strip Part—Name for the strip part.
• Pitch—Value for station width and strip progression.
• Height—Value for station height.
• Project Prefix—Project prefix.
• Number of Stations—Value for the number of stations.
• Offset Before—Offset value before the first station.
• Offset After—Offset value after the first station.
The following information also appears in the Strip Wizard:
• Usage—Use of available material (in percent).
• Total Length—Strip length.
• Material—Name of the material assigned to an article.
• —Cost per station based on material use and cost parameters.
• Blank Area—Area of a strip station which is covered by the article.
• Scrap Area—Area of a strip station which is not used.
• Station Area—Complete area of a strip station.
| When working with a complex strip it can be difficult to select a specific element. If more than one element is selected, middle-click and select the element from the shortcut menu. |
