To Define a Screw Type
Use the Screws definition dialog box to define the screws to use in your assembly. As you define a screw, it appears in the preview area along with the surfaces to which it attaches.
2. Set the Supplier to restrict the types of screw available to a single supplier.
3. Select the desired Type.
4. In the Thread area, select diameter and length.
5. Select or clear Spring Washer and Without Screw.
6. Click the arrow next to 2D – Preview to expand or collapse the 2D preview of the current screw.
7. Click the arrow in the upper right corner to expand the details area and do the following:
Select the tolerance Fine, Medium or Rough from Dia Through Holes (DIN/ISO 273) or enter the value.
Select or clear the Counter bore check box and enter the diameter and depth information. Default counter bore values can be configured.
8. Click OK.
