About Creo Progressive Die Extension
Use the commands on the PDX menu to access the tools required to create article references to sheetmetal parts, build a strip, create a tool assembly, draw a new die, create stamping equipment, screws and pins, and run functional analyses, as follows:
Article—creates and manages articles.
Strip—creates strips.
Die Set—creates and modifies projects.
Component Engine—creates, modifies or removes stamping equipment or stamp reference parts.
Contour Stamps—creates and modifies contour stamps.
Screws—creates, modifies or removes screws.
Pins—creates, modifies or removes pins.
SMARTHolechart—accesses hole chart drawing functionalities.
Drawing Annotations—accesses drawing annotation functionalities.
Hole Overview—creates manufacturing related information tables for drawings.
Inspection Characteristics—creates inspection characteristics tables for drawings.
Accelerate Regeneration—controls strip regeneration behavior.
Analysis—accesses analysis functionalities.
Organization—customizes the application.
Revision—builds progressive die tool versions.
Help—accesses the online help.

All operations can be performed directly on a part or on its article reference. Article references are associative copies of the article which are updated when they are regenerated.
