To Calculate the Line Chain Center
1. Click > . The Calculate Chain’s Center dialog box opens.
2. Click a button to select the curves and edges to use to determine the center:

—Select a chain of curves or edges.

—Select individual curves or edges.

—Discard selected curves or edges.
◦ ![](../PDX/images/pdx_analysis_button_show_chain.gif)
—Highlight selected curves and edges.
3. Select a base coordinate system.
4. Click

to calculate the line center point.
5. Click
![](../PDX/images/pdx_analysis_button_add_line_center_point.gif)
to create the calculated line center point.
6. Click Close.
