To Create a Pin
1. Click PDX Components and then in the Pins group, click Create and one of the commands listed below:
On Existing Points—Create a pin on an existing point.
On Mouse Pick Points—Create both the pin and the point.
2. If you are creating the pin on an existing point, select the point.
3. Select the middle surface through which the pin must pass. The Pins dialog box opens.
4. Define the pin as required.
5. Click OK. The model reorients so that it is perpendicular to the middle surface. The pointer changes to a crosshair.
6. Left-click to place the pin.

Use point patterns or multiple points in a feature to create several pins in a single placement step.
The pin placement process uses visible geometry only. You cannot place a pin or create a hole on a blanked layer.
