To Define a Screw Type
Use the Screws definition dialog box to define the screws to use in your assembly. As you define a screw, it appears in the preview area along with the surfaces to which it attaches.
1. Create a screw.
2. Set the Supplier to restrict the types of screw available to a single supplier.
3. Select the desired Type.
4. Select the screw Name, Diameter and Length.
5. Select or clear the Counterbore check box. Default counterbore values are configurable.
6. Set TD (thread depth) and BD (bore depth).
7. Set Dia Through Holes (DIN/ISO 273) tolerance.
8. Under Additional Options, select or clear the Spring Washer, Without Screw, or Zoom check boxes.
9. Click OK.
