On Existing Points—Create a screw on an existing point.
On Mouse Pick Points—Create both the screw and the point.
2. If you are creating the screw on an existing point, select the point.
3. Select the top surface of the top part to place the screw head.
4. Select the top surface of the bottom part to place the thread.
5. Define the screw as required.
6. Click OK. The model reorients so that it is perpendicular to the top surface of the top part. The pointer changes to a crosshair.
7. Left-click to place the screw.
*
Use point patterns or multiple points in a feature to create several screws in a single placement step.
The screw placement process uses visible geometry only. You cannot place a screw or create a hole on a blanked layer.
