To create a Capability:
From an Architectural Description or Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to NAF, point to Capability, and then click Capability
From a Capability: right-click the Capability, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Capability

When shown on an NCV-4 Capability Dependencies, a Capability appears as follows:
Relationships
The following relationships are of importance to a Capability:
Generalization relationships to define inheritance (NCV-2 Capability Taxonomy).
Exhibits relationships link a Capability to elements that exhibit that Capability.
Expose relationships link a Capability to Service Interface elements that are exposed by that Capability.
Forecast relationships link a Capability to forecasted future Capability elements.
Maps To Capability relationships link a Capability to Function, Operational Activity, Standard Operational Activity and Project Activity elements that map to that Capability.
