Operational activity action (UPDM - MODAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Operational Activity Action:
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the Operational Activity or Standard Operational Activity that is the invoked by the Operational Activity Action.
◦ Click the
Operational Activity Action button, and then click in free space on the diagram. On the Select Type dialog, create or select the Operational Activity or Standard Operational Activity that is invoked by the Operational Activity Action.
◦ From an appropriate Modeler pane, locate the Operational Activity or Standard Operational Activity element that will be invoked by the Operational Activity Action, and then drag that element to free space on the diagram.
On the Items tab of an Operational Activity Action element's property pages, you can view and navigate to the Operational Activity or Standard Operational Activity that is invoked by the Operational Activity Action through the Linked Item association.
Input Pins and Output Pins
On creation of an Operational Activity Action, Modeler creates an Operational Input Pin or Operational Output Pin to represent each Operational Parameter of the Operational Activity or Standard Operational Activity that is used as the type of the Node Operation Action.
Note that after creating an Operational Activity Action, Operational Input Pin and Operational Output Pin elements are not automatically created for new Operational Parameter elements that are created on the associated Operational Activity.
