What was new in Rose Import version 8.1
The Rose Import provided with Studio 8.1 included the following enhancements:
• «enum» stereotyped Classes are now imported as Type Definitions only.
Previously, if an «enum» stereotyped Class had associations, the «enum» stereotyped Class was imported as a Type Definition and an associated Class to represent that Type Definition on Class Diagrams. Type Definitions can now appear on Class Diagrams, so there is no need to create an associated Class and the «enum» stereotype is no longer required in the model.
• «typedef» stereotyped Classes are now imported as Type Definitions only.
Previously, if a «typedef» stereotyped Class had associations, the «typedef» stereotyped Class was imported as a Type Definition and an associated Class to represent that Type Definition on Class Diagrams. Type Definitions can now appear on Class Diagrams, so there is no need to create an associated Class and the «typedef» stereotype is no longer required in the model.
• When State Machine owned Activity Diagrams are imported, the State Machine is imported as an Activity, or a State Machine and an Activity (the Activity is required to own the Activity Diagram in Modeler).
