Importing a Simulink model to a requirement (Integration for MATLAB Simulink)
1. If you have not done so already, add the
Simulink and
SysML profiles to the
Modeler model.
How?
2. We recommend that you back up your Modeler model before importing a Simulink model to a Requirement.
3. Ensure that the Simulink model with which you are working is not open in Simulink.
4. Create a
Requirement, right-click the Requirement, and select > > . You can also select the Requirement and on the
Tools tab, click the arrow next to
Simulink Synchronizer and then click
Synchronize Set the options on each page of Integration for MATLAB Simulink as required.
For information about the options that appear on a page of Integration for MATLAB Simulink, click the Help button.
| • If you are updating a Requirement from a previously imported Simulink model, on the Mapping List page, select the Integration for MATLAB Simulink Mapping you used to previously import that Simulink model. • On the Target Selection page, select the Simulink -> Modeleroption. • If on the Item Mapping Definitions page an icon indicates that an item has changed in the Modeler model (for example or ), confirm that it is acceptable for the import to overwrite those changes. • If in future you want to be able to quickly update the Requirement with changes you make to the Simulink model, on the Save and Synchronize page click the Save and Synchronize button. |
Integration for MATLAB Simulink imports each Simulink block diagram to a Requirement or child Requirement.
