Viewing a Modeler item's associated items in Windchill RV&S (Integration for Windchill RV&S)
When a Modeler item has been synchronized with an item in Windchill RV&S, you can perform the following operations from the item in Modeler:
• View the Modeler item's associated item in a Windchill RV&S Document view
• View the Modeler item's associated item in a Windchill RV&S Item Details view
• View the traceability links of the Model item's associated item
To view a Modeler item's associated item in a Windchill RV&S Document view:
• In Modeler, right-click the item, and select > > .
Windchill RV&S opens the Document that owns the associated item, and then selects that associated item.
To view a Modeler item's associated item in a Windchill RV&S Item Details view:
• In Modeler, right-click the item, and select > > .
Windchill RV&S opens the Item Details view for the associated item.
To view the traceability links of a Model item's associated item:
• In Modeler, right-click the item, and select > > .
Modeler opens the Lifecycle Manager Traceability for Modeler Item dialog. This dialogs shows the Windchill RV&S items that are linked through traceability links to the associated item.
Note that the dialog shows traceability relationships that are defined in Windchill RV&S, not traceability relationships that are defined in Modeler.
