Creation
To create a Project Milestone Role:
• From a
Project Type: right-click the Project Type, point to New, point to MODAF, and then click Project Milestone Role.
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the
Project Milestonethat is the classifier for the Project Milestone Role.
• From an
AcV-3 Project Type Definition: click the 
Composite Association button, click the owning Project Type, and then click the
Project Milestone element that is the type of the Project Milestone Role.

Note that when you create a Project Milestone Role through the Project Milestone Role button, the Project Milestone Role is created as a UML Attribute, rather than a UML Role, and it cannot be shown on the diagram as a Composite Association.
