Defining use case inheritance

UML Modeling Techniques > Use case modeling > Use case diagrams > Defining use case inheritance

You can define Use Case inheritance on a Use Case Diagram or Class Diagram.

To define use case inheritance:

1. On the Use Case Diagram or Class Diagram tab, click the

Generalization button.

2. On the diagram, click the sub Use Case.

3. On the diagram, click the super Use Case.

4. Type the name of the Generalization, and then press the Enter key.
