Creating a formal template parameter

UML Modeling Techniques > Class modeling > Creating class modeling items > Creating a formal template parameter

1. Locate the template Package for which you want to create Formal Template Parameters.

Note that a template Package is a Package that has the Template check box selected on its Property Pages.

2. Open the template Package's property pages.

3. Click the Items tab.

4. In the Show Associated list, select Formal Template Parameters.

5. Click the

New Item button.

6. Type the name of the Formal Template Parameter, and then press the Enter key.
