On a Composite Structure Diagram, a port (Port check box selected) is shown as follow:
On a Composite Structure Diagram, a part (Port check box cleared) is shown as follow:
By default:
• For an Attribute, the Port check box is cleared.
• For a Role, the Port check box is cleared, except when the Role is created through the Port button on the Composite Structure Diagram.
This property is set on the Options tab of an Attribute's or Role's Property Pages:
