When you select the Has Parameter check box for a Variant or Dependency, Modeler creates a Variant Parameter object through the Parameter association. Has Default is an attribute of the Variant Parameter object.

This property specifies a Variant or Dependency's parameter has a default value.

By default, the Has Default check box is cleared.

After selecting the Has Default check box you can define the default value through the Default box.

This property is set on the Parameter tab of a Variant or Dependency's Property Pages. Note that this property is available only when the Has Parameter check box is selected.

When a Variant is shown on a diagram, the Default value is shown as follows:
