Dependency type (property)

This property specifies whether the type of the Dependency, which affects what items can be linked through the Dependency.
This property is set on the Options tab of a Dependency's Property Pages.
When you create a Dependency on a Class Diagram, the button you use determines the Dependency Type:
Creates a Dependency of type Abstraction
Creates a Dependency of type Artifact
Creates a Dependency of type Bind.
Creates a Dependency of type Dependency.
Creates a Dependency of type Excludes.
Creates a Dependency of type Interface Realization.
Creates a Dependency of type Realization
Creates a Dependency of type Requires
Creates a Dependency of type Uses
Creates a Dependency of type Variability (optional)
Creates a Dependency of type Variability (mandatory)
On a diagram, the Dependency Type is indicated through the arrow head and the notation.
