Protecting and unprotecting models and packages (Model Manager)
To protect a model or a package:
1. Right-click on an unprotected model version or package in the Model Browser, and then select Perform Task.
2. The Perform Task dialog box opens. From the menu, select Protect.
3. Select Now, and then click Start.
4. To schedule the task for a later date or time, select Later, and then under Start Date and Start Time, select a date and time, and then click Schedule.
5. In the Executed Tasks table, ensure the task is complete.
6. In the Model Browser, confirm the model version or package is protected.
To unprotect a model or a package:
1. Right-click on a protected model version or package in the Model Browser, and then select Perform Task.
2. The Perform Task dialog box opens. From the drop-down list, select Unprotect.
3. Select Now, and then click Start.
4. To schedule the task for a later date or time, select Later, and then under Start Date and Start Time, select a date and time, and then click Schedule.
5. In the Executed Tasks table, ensure the task is complete.
6. In the Model Browser, confirm that the model version or package is unprotected.
