Scheduling tasks (Model Manager)
Tasks can be scheduled to be executed at specific times (for example outside of working hours) in order to minimize the performance impact on the Integrity Modeler Servers and users. Scheduled tasks can also be set to be recurring, allowing routine management tasks to be executed on a regular basis.
To schedule a task, perform the following procedure:
1. Right-click on a database, model, model version, or package in the Model Browser, and then select Perform Task.
2. In the When drop-down list, select Later.
3. The Schedule Task dialog box opens. Select a task, and then set the following parameters:
Start time
Repeat Task or Repeat Indefinitely
Number of Times
Interval
4. Click Schedule. The task is scheduled.
*
If the IIS service is stopped and restarted, the scheduled tasks in Model Manager are paused. To resume the paused tasks, log in to Model Manager, click TOOLS and then select Resume Scheduled Tasks. The tasks resume with the same settings from before they were paused. If the start time of the paused tasks is missed, then the task is executed immediately upon clicking Resume Scheduled Tasks.
