Cloning models and packages (Model Manager)
To clone a model or package:
1. Right-click on a model or package in the Model Browser, and then select Copy.
2. Right click on a database or package and select Paste.
3. Under Task, select Clone.
4. Select Now, or Later if you wish to schedule the task, and then click Start.
5. The Clone Model/Package dialog box opens. The Item to Clone and the New Clone Owner are populated.
6. Under New Clone Name, enter a new name for the cloned model or accept the suggested one.
7. To apply permissions associated with the original model or package, select Retain Permissions.
8. Click Clone.
