How rich text is merged
Rich text properties can be merged during the merging of diagrams or items. When rich text is merged, Modeler merges the rich text as follows:
If the source rich text property has text and the destination rich text property is empty, the source rich text is used for the resultant rich text property.
If the source rich text property is empty and the destination rich text property has text, the destination rich text is used for the resultant rich text property.
If both the source and destination rich text properties have text, Modeler merges the source and destination text with the differences indicated in the resultant text. When this happens you must manually resolve the resultant rich text in your model.
The following example demonstrates how Modeler shows source and destination item text differences in merged rich text.
