Defining symbol features for an individual symbol - custom view option
Use this method when you want a feature to apply only to a specific symbol on a specific diagram. For example, using a specific image for a Class on a particular diagram only.
To define symbol features for an individual symbol:
1. On the diagram, right-click the symbol, and then click View Options.
2. Click the Style entry.
3. Select the Custom option.
4. Click the Edit button.
5. On the Style Modification dialog, set the symbol features as required, and then click OK.

6. If you want to refine style features you have set using a Stereotype (the Stereotype's style features will not override any features you have set on the symbol), in the Refine list select the Stereotype. Only Stereotypes that have been applied to the symbol's item are available.
7. Click OK.
Each symbol feature you set will be used on the diagram symbol.
